About NSRA

The Nebraska State Recycling Association is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to resource conservation and recycling.  We believe a problem exists concerning the nation's use of its resources and the impact this has on the environment.  Our mission is to serve as a catalyst, improving the consumer's ability to conserve resources, protect air, land and water by meeting solid waste management and recycling challenges with local resources.  It is our intent to bring together local and regional markets for recycled commodities, profitably. 

Our History

Founded in 1980, the Nebraska State Recycling Association is the third oldest recycling association in the United States.  NSRA originally provided services for recycling only.  As we grew, resource conservation and solid waste management were added to our expanded mission.
