Founded in 1980, the Nebraska State Recycling Association has a long history as a resource provider. Through the years, NSRA has recognized that resource conservation and recycling are the future of our planet and have widened our mission to incorporate all aspects of the "reduce, reuse, recycle" philosophy. We have raised awareness of recycling among the general public, while providing technical assistance and grant assistance for many recycling programs statewide.
We are governed by a volunteer Board of Directors and are not an agency of the State of Nebraska.
The Nebraska State Recycling Association is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to resource conservation and recycling. We aim to serve as a catalyst, improving the consumer's ability to conserve resources and meet recycling challenges, while helping to create local and regional markets for recycled materials.
